Cross Play appears to be a little flaky at the moment, maybe due to it only just releasing. Dissimilar people appear to be getting unlike results. I.Due east: some tin can see friends on other platforms such equally between Stadia/GFN (Steam) as mentioned below, others cannot run into friends on other platforms at all. It'south possible that they are still staggering the release, or confining it like platforms such equally Stadia/Steam which are both effectively PC versions due to mouse & keyboard support.

It turns out that cantankerous play was accidentally enabled and was not meant to become live when it did. Please see confirmation of this from their lead community manager beneath besides as confirmation of a fix being implemented to remove it until the time is ready.

Guardians, the time has come to bring together forces with our bretherin from consoles of yonder. Cross Play is now Live on Destiny ii meaning that players from separate consoles (such as Stadia, Xbox, PlayStation & Steam) can now play together regardless of what platform they are playing on!

With Stadia withal being fairly new on the market compared to other platforms, sometimes it can exist difficult to find others to play with or against in some game modes or raids. This was alleviated somewhat when Destiny 2 became completely gratis to play on Stadia (Pro or not) pregnant anyone could start playing instantly - however this is certain to remedy this trouble further since yous can now exist matched with, or play with friends who are on other platforms.

I was able to join Duncan (one2escape) whilst he was playing on GeForce Now, and I on Stadia, and equally y'all'll see from the screenshot below, at that place were people in our roster who had spaces, hypens, underscores, umlauts, and fifty-fifty other weird characters in their player names - all of which cannot be used in Stadia usernames.
