Gtx 1060 6gb World Of Tanks
#1 Posted May 26 2017 - 00:04
I just replaced my GTX 550 Ti for a brand new GTX 1060 (Asus ROG OC 6GB edition) and I am barely noticing whatsoever operation increase.
With my 550ti i was running WoT around 25-30fps on high.
Now with the 1060 it's around 40-45 while sitting still and while driving a tank it drops to 30-35fps.
I've did some enquiry and the game should hands exist able to handle 90-100 fps on max settings.
And that'south another thing if i alter to max settings it says it is unable to and tells me to utilise custom settings instead.
When i exercise that and try to switch the slider on Texture Quality to Ultra it will only get up to High.
Also when I'm sitting in the garage my clock speed stays around 2000MHz and as soon as i load into boxing this gets cut in half.
I am wondering if the menu is faulty or if there are any other bug.
Spent quite some fourth dimension trying to figure this out, searched the spider web, tried dissimilar drivers, various settings in Nvidia command panel etc but no difference.
I am running a fairly older motherboard and cpu, information technology's a Intel Core2Quad Q9300 and the motherboard has a PCIe ii.0 x16 slot instead of 3.0.
I looked that up and everywhere i come across people saying the ii.0 doesn't matter but if the cpu is under massive load that can be the clogging.
However when i run WoT my cpu load goes anywhere from forty-60% it never goes over 60%
Anyone has any idea's virtually this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

New system bro. Doesn't affair what graphics card you put in that dinosaur. That processor is like 11 or 12 years old.

9 years but withal its a quad core and its non running at full load

Sounds similar your CPU and/or RAM is bottlenecking your operation. To check put everything on depression and you should exist getting virtually the aforementioned fps.
On an adequate system the 1060 will allow y'all run max everything 60fps plus at 1080p. I accept a 1050 Ti and tin do that like shooting fish in a barrel.

CPU is bottlenecking your GPU performance, upgrade your motherboard+cpu equally well. WoT doesn't demand a very practiced GPU, all you demand is 1 strong CPU core.
Also try some benchmarking programs to see if your GPU is working as intended.

WoT client doesn't have permission to use 100% CPU usage. It merely uses 1 thread at a time, and so residual are unused.. Don't ask me why. -.-

Hi i,m use GTX 1050 (Asus ) seventy+-10 fps + 10 ram gaga Information technology gives me high definition
for check the temperature GPU
upward ram and and utilise ASUS GPU TweakII#9 Posted May 26 2017 - 00:42
Ok well it does seem like cpu might exist bottleneck and ram maybe.
If i volition upgrade i want to get the correct one but what would be recommended?
Currently i take a quadcore @ ii.5GHz, how much would for example an i5 @ 3.5GHz practice?
Or does it require an i7 @ 4GHz+ ?

High performance for pc ability plan andNVIDIA Command Panel gear up to Prefer maximum functioning? I had depression fps with my gtx 1080 when those were prepare under that

Yep did both of those, guess its really a cpu bottleneck

Gigabyte Extreme Gaming 1060 OC on a new Ryzen build. I am getting 110 solid frames at 1080p @75htz. I am running max graphics simply not HD client.
Adding new hardware to something that one-time is never a slap-up idea if you want to encounter big gains in performance. Are you sure you are getting enough power to the card? Min required ps is 500w.
For a nice build at a good price I wouldn't bother with intel. Build off the new AMD Ryzen. Other than some mobo issues with bios and ram, Ryzen is a peachy mode to game and not pause your wallet to much.

World of Tanks is very cpu intensive.
Core2duo @3ghz got about 30fps (ddr2)
i5 760 @iii.8ghz got near 45 fps (first gen i5, dd3)
i5 4690k @ 4.2ghz well over 60 fps (4th gen i5, ddr3, using frame limiter in drivers and then it doesnt wing over sixty)
Ryzen, i5 or higher will be fine, mhz does matter, try but overclocking your current cpu for complimentary functioning.
Oh for Ultra textures you demand 64bit windows and the HD client.

Well I didn't demand to come out of the rock yet, my GTX 1080 with i7 extreme can run anything only fine..

dude that CPU is ancient. the GPU is being bottlenecked hugely. not to mention WoT is more than a CPU intensive game than a GPU intensive one, you lot need to update that erstwhile CPU before you'll see any improvement with that 1060 in almost games.

As said in a higher place.. CPU is your clogging. I get fourscore+ fps on max graphics with an i5 4690k(oc'd) and an r9 380.

Effort turning off in game settings vertical sync and anstalegic filtering they are on left side above fov adj.should jump fps and graphics a boost.i run the same bill of fare and everything on max settings.dont quote my spelling.utilise hd cable to monitor all runs smooth around 120 fps and aeound 25 to 40 ping.also if bill of fare came with a program to run your game at optimal settings try that.

A recent cadre i5 should should be more sufficient for a game similar WoT ... primarily since wot is a 'single' cpu/core game and Intel tends to have ameliorate single core performance when compared to AMD.
